“Verily, Allah will not change the (good) condition of a people as long as they do not change their state (of goodness) themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allah)" [al-Ra'd 13:11]
Allah will not change the condition of a person from good to bad or from bad to good until that person them self doesn’t make a change. This also includes hardships and trying to bring ease into your life. It requires us, as individuals,to also act in order for this change to occur, be that good or bad, ease or hardship.
Tomorrow is the day of Arafat. Let’s all make an effort to bring a change into our lives, even if it’s a single change just for the pleasure of Allah. See how it brings you happiness and joy across the coming days, months and years. Most importantly let us pray for all the oppressed brothers and sisters of ours across the globe who are need of our prayers. May this hardship, at the very least, be their key to Jannah.
